Well, they won a national title in the same decade as one of the football powers we added last expansion...so if that made that school a football power (according to the consensus of this board) then it makes Maryland one too.

Maryland claims many strengths and titles. "Football power" is not one of them.

Dude, you just cant live without taking swipes at fellow members and its getting old.

If you consider Clemson to be a national power, then so is Syracuse, because we have the same amount of national championships, and SU is ranked much higher than Clemson on the all time winning programs list. Syracuse should be back to its winning ways by the time we enter the ACC, and Clemson will regularly receive the type of whipping that you got the last time we played.

News flash for ya there sport....Donovan McNabb ain't under center for Syracuse and Tommy West ain't roaming the sidelines at Clemson any more.
