Not Guilty on one Count

Hung Jury on the other five Counts.

Feds ought to forget about a re-trial.

God I hope not. Edwards is a scumbag and I hope we never hear from him again but I'm not so sure he committed a crime here. I suspect the DOJ is prosecuting this because Obama/Holder don't want to seem like they're going soft on a fellow Dem. They gave it a shot and have saved face, so now they can drop it.

LOL at the notion of Obama/Holder saving face while Corzine walks a free man.

Feds need to drop it. The man is humiliated, they made their point, and he has 2 young kids to take care of. Not worth the money of a re-trial.

People whose judgment I respect had differing opinions about whether or not Edwards' actions were a criminal violation of law. But I think virtually everyone will agree that the case is not worth another trial.

He should be disbarred, though.

Nothing surprising here. Edwards is a sleazeball with money and well gee golly gosh, the jury was hung on most of the charges. I wonder how the juror that flirted with him voted? Anyway, he is a genuine POS that walks. It's happened before and will happen again.

It was an alternate, not an actual juror. Still, if I was the judge, I'd have chewed him out and maybe held him in contempt for tampering with a potential juror.

I doubt the Feds will re-try Edwards. North Carolina is supposedly in play, and a re-trial just highlights the Sleeze Factor of the Democrats.

The world will be a better place if Edwards can't practice law. BTW: He is a sleaze ball to bring up his dead son yet againduring his Jimmy Swaggert moment.
