RE: 4* Lineback Graham Stewart to transfer from Florida to UConn
Good kid from a great CT HS program. A little back story:

Our former coach wasn't the most popular recruiter among the CT HS coaches, mainly because of his big-timing them on many occasions. The school Stewart is from had a little-known kid that their coach practically begged our old coach to take a look at. Naturally, he refused to take the kid's tapes from the coach until the kid blew up, and by then it was too late.

The kid ended up at Iowa and is now on an NFL roster - Amari Speivey's his name.

So naturally the HS coach wasn't too enamored with ol' State U as long as the old coach was there - and CT POTY Graham Stewart wasn't ending up anywhere near Storrs if he could help it. Stewart committed to hated BC instead, until the Gators stepped in.

Now that the old coach is gone and old friend/former colleague Paul P is in Storrs, the CT coaches feel a TON better about recommending their kids to UConn. If Paul P isn't here, Stewart ends up at The Heights instead of Storrs.

True story...

Because of a transfer at a position where we are already really strong? Even if Stewart plays this year, he may not start. We have a NFL guy in Sio Moore at the MLB position already.

But feel free to move us up. Baha.
