Happy Memorial Day to all veterans out there. Remember those that were the real heroes and gave all that they had. I would like to remember 3/15th infantry for Memerial Day this year. They lost good men on the day this picture was taken. I still remember the announcement of their deaths coming over the radio in our Bradley. God bless the men in the body bags and their families. Infantry leads the way. Queen of battle. Pick up your rifle and follow me. I am the infantry.

My father Thomas Fornof fought in the Lebanon Conflict as a Navy Pilot
My uncle Terry Fornof is a brig general in the air force (fought in countless foreign conflicts over his time in the military, including both afghanistan and Iraq)
My grandfather on my dads side J.W. Bill Fornof flew and fought in WW2 and Korea
My Grandfather on my mothers side fought during WW2

Thank god for all of their hard work, nothing we do now would be possible with their work.

Bring the troops home.

I'm the first man in my family to not be in the military.

My father was in the 101st.

My grandfather stormed Utah Beach.

My great grandfather received a Silver Star and a bullet to the leg in WW1.

I have various other family members that served as well.

Those who gave their lives, the wounded, those serving, those who have served and the families of those, who silently sacrifice for our country also.
