Looking more and more worthy of the Sun Belt logo painting on the turf.

Can the stadium be expanded more vertically?

That would be sick!

Another expansion is planned for whenever it becomes needed. The east side (side furthest from camera in that pic). Is shown with a third deck. Other than that, not sure but I assume it would be possible everywhere but on the west side.

There is a plan that will include another level above the "visitor" side after the other endzone has been completed. Capacity would be around 45,000.

As a TROY fan myself...I'm SUPER JEALOUS of the Texas State stadium. Having had the nicest stadium in the Sunbelt for a while, I'm not a fan of losing that title to all you other schools. But I'm so excited about the growth our conference is making in facilities.

THings are definitely looking up. I think TX St. and Ga. St, are going to find out quickly that these improvements and more than anything the status of FBS will help tremendously with recruiting.

Our Stadium is on its way back to the top here soon. Give it a year and we will be building that new end zone of ours.

First step is to "complete" the bowl. The side where you see grass houses our home locker room, weight room, admin offices, etc. There's a plan in place I BELIEVE to add stands up to that building next year.

After that, there is an idea of adding another tier and suites to the "visitor" side, which is on the other side of the picture shown.

Personally, I'd like a small tier above the new construction to kind of offset the stark difference in height.

But that's a purely aesthetic opinion. I think it will be nice.

Of course, this is taking for granted that they do a renovation of the visitor side... cause that side is REALLY lacking in my opinion.

I don't really like a stadium that is completely bowled in where you can't see inside the stadium. War Memorial in Arkansas is like that and it just looks like a big building to me.
