Axeme on main board said we "kicked it around a bit" in the late innings. Apparently we brought in a reliever with the bases loaded and his first pitch hit a Kent batter...flood gates opened from there capped by a grand slam by the MAC POY.

I think there were two K's in the inning that got away from the catcher and allowed the batters to get on. One IF made a bad throw, another made a late throw, and on a tag-up at 3rd, one of your OF's ran in front of the the OF making the catch and throw to the plate which made him hesitate fractionally and KSU scored on a bang-bang play at the plate. Your coach was apparently visibly not happy. The HBP was the capper.

Looks like you guys are trying to rally in the 8th vs. UB. Down 7-2, 2 runners on. UB's pitching is very thin. Big innings are possible with this being their 3rd game.

Gave up 3 in the top of the 9th, but have scored 4 in the bottom of the 9th to trail 10-6. Runner on, two out.

A couple more hits, another run. 10-7, two on, tying run to the plate.

ANother hit, another run. Runners on 1st and 2nd, score 10-8. UB calls for the pen as WMU has KO'd UB's best relieve, though that is not really saying a lot.

That was a crazy 9th inning. Too bad the Broncos couldn't pull it off.

Not to be. UB 10, WMU 8. UB is the surprise team as the 8 seed in their first ever MAC Tourney.

I don't know if any of you are watching or following, but Kent is up 2-0 in the 6th against Oregon. Winner advances to College World Series.

I hope Gernon can continue to build our program up. Just watching Kent makes me jealous that WMU isn't there.
