People's surprising inability to ignore threads is the entire reason we have an (unnecessary)off-topic board.

lol @ Panama thinking all teams fly on regular commercial flights and must rely on connections 03-lol

Ga Southern managed to fly from Savannah to Fargo and I can tell you that isn't a normal route

media markets, airport hubs, etc is all Ga State can hang their hats on and it has become laughable on this board and others

Thanks.

Nashville to Charlotte, US, United, Regionals.

I'd also like to thank the lovely people at Orbitz, when you Orbitz, you truly DO know.

Lafayette Regional flies direct to Houston, Dallas, and Atlanta. Short one hour drive to Baton Rouge, add half an hour to get to the airport and direct flight to Memphis, and Charlotte for fans the last two probably expensive. Most teams will bus within the western division and much of the eastern side as well.

I look forward to trips to TXST, UAT, USA, TROY, GSU, MIDDLE, WKU, yes ASU, & UALR. FAU, not so much a little far away. ULM? They hae a really beautiful bayou running though the campus, but I see lots of pretty bayou locations.

If any of you guys ever play a game against LSU in Baton Rouge I suggest you take a side trip to Southern Univesity, and witness one of the most senic spots on the campus looking over the Mighty Mississippi on the Buff. That is about fifteen miles south of LSU.

Football = Charter
Olympic Sports = Commercial

...and I work for an airline and I have seen PLENTY of college's Olympic sports teams waiting for connections at Hartsfield. Its dead time and a lost day on either end of the trip. By all appearances you can get to Charlotte from some SBC cities on US Airways' regional partner Mesa Airlines (dba US Airways Express). However youre going to have a less of available for seats because you have fewer flights and its on CRJs (50 seaters). The majority of the flights between those cities and Charlotte are still one stops.

True. If you do not like or not concerned with what you are reading in a thread....THEN WHY ARE YOU READING IT!

Are you just a constant complainer?

The last of the App posters are amazingly on topic, they've limited themselves to 2 of three current alignment threads, and nothing else I see.

I'm not saying App posters or realignment threads are or are not on topic. I was merely stating that the only reason we have an off-topic board was because of an outspoken group of about five or six who complained constantly about OT threads, to which we responded "ignore them" which apparently is more difficult than it would seen.

I'm not disagreeing, but that is the first time I've ever heard of a Bayou being called beautiful.

Probably a product of growing up in Houston, where the bayous are all just run off and usually funky nasty.

Bayou St John New Orleans is wonderful as it runs along one of the nations largest city parks. You know if you develop the area around a bayou the whole thing can have a very nice natural feel to it, and not a swampy feel. Trust me the bayou that runs though the ULM campus is nice, don't know what it is like five miles away.

I would not describe Panama as cocky, nor was I aware of Troy playing Georgia State this year...
