The support is already pretty slim for football in Oakland. If Pitt is left in the ACC/BE leftovers league, I could see this being a real option for them.

At least they won't be in this conference.

In 10 years Pitt may just win another national championship.

I guess WV does fit after all, despite the geography.

Funny, but if this thing keeps turning the way it's headed, every single school would certainly take their footballl, basketballl, and baseballl to the Big 12 rather than being stuck in the ACC.

Is the original post meant for just pure, unadulterated trolling and insult hurling?

Since the Memphis thread got moved, I expect this one will be moved as well. Lot of tension on the realignment board today.

I've come to the conclusion that a lot of WVU fans drive Trans Ams.

Of course it was. I'm glad the respected posters like yourself are actively calling it out too.

I'm disappointed in the level of discussion here. There's a 7 page thread on the main page about Pitt going to the Pac 12, but this is considered trolling? It's reality. Syracuse discussed dropping 1-A football about 10 years ago. Once the haves have been separated from the have-nots, it's going to be real interesting to see what happens. But I'm sure the ACC is fine and Notre Dame is about to join and bring Penn St with them, lalalalalalala.

I was not bothered by your thread and wouldn't have an issue with this being in the realignment forum. It's fair game IMO. However, I guess your reputation tends to make most people question your motives I suppose.

Yeah, my reputation for telling the truth. Here's what I've posted on this board:
1) WVU would get out of the Big East immediately.
2) The Big 12 would get ACC teams.
The BE/ACC guys who run this board don't like it, but I'm batting 1.000.

Pitt to FCS is pretty obviously trolling.

#2 is far from true. Name an ACC team that went, or is going, to BIG 12.

FSU & Clemson for starters. Maybe more later. You've got about 3 more weeks of disbelief before the revelation.

With the news about the Big 12 TV contract not getting bigger per team, FSU or anybody in ACC, is less likely to join.

If you believe that, you probably believe Pitt has 9 national championships in football. Neither is true, by the way.

Did this prophecy come from a WVU message board, too? If not it's probably not going to happen. The dude knows all.

And I agree that you are a better source of information on how many national titles Pitt has won than the school is itself. I don't know where anybody gets off listening to what they have to say about how many championships they claim.
