Palin going rogue again
Palin endorses Orrin Hatch over Tea Party challenger

03-lmfao Go rogue. Then, when everyone expects you to go rogue, what do you do? Go rogue again and endorse the neo-conniest of neo-cons.

I was hoping she'd take some time to develop a structured, readily-articulated platform. Instead she seems to live down to a scattershot, flighty image.

I feel bad for all the people who bought her book and donated money to her campaign when it was obvious to everyone that she had no intention for running. Not because they lost a few bucks, but because I can only imagine how hard it must be on them to remember that the oven is hot and which key goes to their door, on account of the severe retardation they clearly are victims of.

How do you donate money to a campaign that doesn't exist?

Exactly. Opportunist and politician are synonymous.

How do you donate money to a campaign that doesn't exist?

You create an exploratory committee, and ask for donations for that, all without any legitimate desire to run for president. You then ride the media-storm, answering questions cryptically along the way, as a way to get free advertisement for your book tour. Then, once you've milked that for all you can, you declare that you have decided not to run and boom, that donated money is yours.

I don't know if I would go that far, she was never in favor of gay marraige, civil unions, legal pot, and abortion. She was much better before the McCain campaign tainted her (well that and it came to light how dumb she was).

What I think came to light is that they were trying to remake her into a neocon, and it rattled and confused her (as it would anyone, up to and including Einstein), particularly trying to do it in the heat of a campaign. It wasn't her, and it's always come across as sort of dishonest and maybe a bit sleazy.

What concerns me is that once she got caught in never-never-land between positions, she seems to have gotten stuck there. I guess she's making a lot of money at it, and maybe she just figures she'll milk it for what it's worth.

I haven't seen the Sarah who was governor of Alaska since the acceptance speech at the convention. And that was not one of her better efforts.

I didn't think Palin formed an exploratory committee. I know she talked about doing it but I didn't think she ever officially did it. Didn't she do that bus tour instead?

She might not have formed one explicitly, I do remember her sending donation requests to past donors to fund her looking into running, and only a few weeks out from when she stated publicly that she wasn't running.
