Nobody wants to run him out of town. Every fan base has its fringe and you should know this because no fan base has more whackos than Southern. He is leaving of his own volition. People forget that our first season was a winning season and that we have only had TWO seasons. If and when he leaves it will not be because anyone is calling for his head.

Your own wackos came onto the CFB internet scene and stirred the hornets nest of Southern fans. We may have more wackos, but that's because we've got more fans. But the wacko/normal fan ratio is much worse for State.

Thanks for yet another cheap shot. Bill Curry's all-time record: 92-118.
He's 1-2 vs. NAIA schools the past two seasons. Curry was never that good of a coach to begin with. He was hired because of his name and because of his connections with ESPN. He served his purpose, you got into ESPN the Magazine. Now it's time to hire a big boy coach. Jim Leavitt is still out there. Look at what he did at USF.

Yeah, and? He made lots of statements before he was officially SBC. Some of which pertained to Georgia State and lookie what happened there. Do you think he wasn't talking to SBC presidents prior to "officially" taking office? Wishful thinking, my friend.

With the release of the meeting details I think we can see that there will be no more movement this year.

Just curious Liberty people, do you know if Falwell has representatives in Destin this week? GS fans were trying to figure out if we have a presence down there as well. If App State doesn't stop playing footsie with CUSA, Liberty might jump ahead of them in line. As much as I have my own personal reservations of Liberty, they have the money and the desire. That's 2/3 of the equation. I'm starting to think all of the good/bad publicity that a Liberty invite would provide might increase the SBC's visibility. Just a thought.

Not sure if any admin is down there or not, I hope so.. I will say that if Liberty is invited you will see a ton of publicity good bad or ugly.

From the release it didnt sound like anyone was there in an "OFFICAL" capacity. Nor should there of been.

Now it wouldnt surprise me if there were some folks from there were around.
