RE: Other UTSA Fan Forums
Though these are more blog-based, there's also Coker Chronicles ( http://www.cokerchronicles.com) and El Convo ( http://www.elconvo.com). Both of those sites are run by the same group of guys, Adam, Jared, and Adam Shafer (the new guy to the group); the sites are football and basketball-oriented respectively. Rowdy Report ( http://www.rowdyreport.com) is also somewhat blog-based but with a more fact-posting feel (not so much opinion-oriented) where Darrell essentially post articles that feel more like news recaps where his articles have links to the original articles and sources. He also has a recruiting board and a schedule of future football games for future seasons.

I'd sure like it if those sites supported Tapatalk like CSNBBS does :-)
I think Rowdy Talk supports Tapatalk. I personally don't have that app but you're more than welcome to give it a try with RT.

I tried Rowdy Talk. It doesn't support Tapatalk, but it does support "Forum Runner". I may try that app and see what it's like.

Wow, I swear I searched for all permutations of rowdytalk last night in tapatalk and it never came up. I search for it after reading this post, and all of my prior search terms for rowdytalk bring it up.
Regardless, I'm glad it's there!!!! Thanks for posting it!!!

RE: Other UTSA Fan Forums
We really need to condense into two forums max. We are too spread out and I know most of you guys post on all of them, but it would be in our interest to unite. One free board and one paid, affiliated with rivals.
IRS = biased journalism and inactive boards.
Rowdyville = evidently owned by a 12 year old. Runnersup deletes the comments that he doesn't agree with and makes up his own rules as he goes. There are no rules posted but apparently, you are not allowed to be happy that an underperforming coach resigns. If you complain, you get a response along the lines of "This is my board. If you don't like the rules then find another board" what rules?
Rowdytalk = don't know much of it, I don't regularly visit that one.
Blogs = Great.
CSNbbs = been reading for a while, registered today. Looks good thus far.
If you ask me, we should keep IRS, as soon as they become a bit more reliable and this board. Also, the blogs do a great job.

If it were to work out somehow sometime in the near future, I would think that IRS would be the one to become the rivals.com UTSA affiliate (i.e. the UTSA team site on Rivals) simply because they have been the ones that have brought UTSA recruiting news and more to UTSA fans for a while now.
This kind of happened with bobcatreport.com where they were a free Texas State fan site with a forum and a crew that brought Texas State recruiting news before they became the Texas State team site on Rivals last August.
In general, I don't know how Rival works overall as to how they obtain team sites or the process that they use to designate a site as such but I'm hoping that there's one for UTSA in the near future.

Huh. Maybe that explains why my post regarding the baseball coach firing, where I stated along the lines that "Hickey moved quite fast on this" (or something similar to that) doesn't seem to be there any more. It was a one line comment that I no longer see there so I can't even quote it anymore. While I'm not a prolific poster, I don't recall ever having posted anything worth deletion (on any site, ever). And this particular posts I made definitely did not deserve deletion.
Well, I wondered what happened. It had completely disappeared. Even when I look at all my posts on that site, it doesn't show up. Now I know.

CSNbbs has the busiest UAB, Rice, Memphis, Cincy, CUSA, and Sunbelt forums. I'm glad you all have a nice following here already.

You are not the only one slow runner. Mac gave me a link to an obscure thread from 2011 where it says that you can't bash players, coaches or recruits. Apparently, your comment of Lynn moving fast, was, in the mind of a capricious kid, bashing. Valley runner's comment of relief that the coach resigned was also bashing. My question of WTF, why do you delete the posts, was somehow, bashing someone.
I think I'll give rowdytalk a try. I'm gonna start visiting that board and read up on past threads. Hopefully, I find a sticky thread with the rules.

You will like rowdytalk yankee. Lax on the rules and actually promote Runner fans instead of silencing them and allowing them to speak freely.

I'm not looking to bash anyone. But if a recruit is overrated, IMO, or a coach is not performing very well, I'd like to make that statement. In rowdyville, that's against the "rules" so they want you to be a sunshine pumper.

I rarely go to rowdycille because there are rarely new posts. Rowdytalk was busy for a while but has really slowed down. CNSbbs is good but now is starting baseball talk (yawn). What are the blogs you mention?
