1. Boise State declines the Big East
2. Big East raids CUSA further
3. CUSA then has two options -
4. Further raid the Sun Belt or call up FCS programs

The bottom line is that to a forward thinking conference commissioner the growth potential of Liberty is gigantic and something that cannot be ignored.

Since our founding in 1971 -

1. 13,000 students
2. NCAA D1 in every sport except football (FCS)
3. Several NCAA individual national champions
4. Approaching 1 billion in total assets
5. In the middle of a 250 million dollar campus upgrade
6. A1 credit rating (Moody's)
7. Our own TV Network already broadcasting events nationwide
8. Goal of 25,000 students on campus
9. A national, not regional fanbase
10. Growth potential greater than many similar universities


If you look at the last 40 years and look ahead to the next 40, you will see that the growth potential of Liberty dwarfs that of MTSU.

Dude, your school has possibly the sh*ttiest reputation in the country. No one in CUSA wants anything to do with you. Without even bringing in the crazy, there are at least a dozen FCS schools that are better expansion candidates than Liberty.
