That's the problem. If an ACC school doesn't come its Louisville + Cincinnati (who noone seems interested in) or Louisville + Rutgers (who offers nothing competitively). And 11 makes no sense.

That's where it's a shame that aTm's departure precipitated the poaching of Missouri as well for balance. If MU was still in the Big 12, it would help bridge the geography towards UL and WVU, which would be two strong additions to an even stronger core Big 12.

If the ACC hadn't expanded when it did, Pitt, UL and WVU would probably be #s 10-12.
