My take on the new TV contract
ACC performance is approximately where it was 2 years ago. The addition of Syracuse and Pitt now makes the conference worth ~$2billion more. By my calculations, and math isn't my best subject, that makes Syracuse worth ~$1.995 billion and Pitt with ~$3-5 million. Would someone please check my math?

I for one, am glad they are coming aboard. Both schools are great additions to the ACC.

I hope as the two schools enter the conference, the vision of a true north-south Atlantic Coast Conference will become real and the immediate and long term benefits apparent to all, including our good friend catdaddy, spokesperson for all things Clemson.

Hopefully, Clemson, FSU, GT, Miami will be in the ACC when SU and Pitt arrive next year, along with VT and NCSU, and of course UNC, VA, Duke and MD instead of departing to the Big 12, SEC, Big 10 as predicted by realignment authority "the dude".

However, if it does happen that way, I am sure SU, Pitt, BC and Wake will carry the ACC banner in a way you can be proud, unless of course Pitt joins the Big 12 or Big 10 and BC joins with ND in the Big 12 or Big 10, in which case I am sure SU and Wake will carry the ACC banner in a way you can be proud.
