Tailgating at Ladd is not bad at all.
All of the locals are accommodating and there is a nice police presence just in case something goes foul.
I have yet to hear of any trouble on game day.

Now hanging around after the game and partying into the late hours of the night might be a bad idea.

Now there's a stadium the whole SBC family can be proud of.

I've heard a lot of smack talk against Ladd-Peebles, but be patient, we'll have a OCS in a couple of years that will rival any in the SBC. We are well aware ole Ladd is a bucket of bolts, but it's free rent till the real thing comes along.

I hope they modify the design. I'm sure that's way preliminary, but I think it looks terrible.

It wont look like that. This an early design. Theres more up to date pics of that it will look like in the current Field house...But its a general idea and looks similar to what its going to look like.

RE: Rate the SBC football Stadiums
Here's the newest rendering of the new endzone complex. This one is A LOT nicer looking than the older renderings.

I think I'd like it more if they widen the building to meet the sides of the seating.

Of course not for every game but like every other school when the team is winning and your playing someone of interest the fans will come. The building rendering is not really much of an expansion. It's more so closing up an awkward gap. It may add 2000 more seats or so but at the rate the school is growing it would easily be enough for the students.

Well the max capacity will be between 35,000 and 40,000 and those new seating areas in the renderings aren't actually filled with real people, so it was a legit question. And the answer is I'm not sure. We've never filled what we've got now which is 30,000. We've had 27,500 once. Depends on the opponent and the alignment of the moon, sadly enough.

Thanks for answering my question. I know what you mean when you say the opponent and other factors impact attendance. Troy should have a very strong home field advantage when that place is packed.

As long as TROY doesnt suck, Troy will be top 3 in attendance in the SBC this season....

Mississippi State will be a sell out 30,000+
Navy will be 24k+
Arkansas state (Homecoming, Auburn people will come out for this game) 22k+
