I just found this 2011 thread while looking-up some stuff about the A-Sun Belmont replacement. It really doesn't have anything to do with us; but, it's still interesting to read. Evidently, there are some NKU fans that want football. I'll both laugh and cry when the "fighting Norse" get football for the first time ever before we even get it back. Thanks Stanton! Ugh.

Same issues we have. No place to play, not enough wealthy alumni interested in contributing.

One huge glaring difference: They DID NOT name their tennis coach as athletic director. They are wanting to move up not down. They are making moves to a greater, brighter future for their school.

I could see them going the non scholarship route early, but they're years away from having a scholarship program. NKU has to get into D-1, get their feet on the ground before they can even think of it.
