Your only option if you are not a HASF donor or season ticket holder is to call ticketmaster or go in person to the convo.

So then MD is indeed correct. This IS confusing, and it IS difficult for NIU fans to get tickets through NIU.

Yes, MD is indeed correct. 04-jawdrop ;-)

I am really fuming about this....I need to go for a walk.

This is complete crap that an out of town fan (bikechuck) cant purchase tickets in the NIU section of reserved 20,000 tickets.

I mean really we have less than 4000 season ticket holders and they reserved 20,000 tickets? What is the point of that? I know that we didn't bring 20,000 last year to Wisconsin so what were they thinking?

Might as well just set it at 10,000 removing the crappy corner seats in the 100 and 200 level by the Iowa endzone and the 200 level in the endzone so that there are less sections for the NIU fans to be spread out in.

It weren't for the 2mil we are supposed to cash in on I would be more upset. Really I should just realize that this is about needed income. I would still look forward to attend the rumored 2014 SF game vs Nebraska but if it doesn't happen no biggy.

If it's all about making money - which it is - why didn't they just open sales at one time and let everyone jump in? The stadium will once again be filled with Iowa fans.

Well next time if anyone of you 'non loyal fans' on here needs tickets let me know and you can get in on my order.

Iowa sold all of their $80 and $70 tickets before today. They only had the $60 tickets remaining.

It seems that all the club seats are sold out for both of us.

Anyone want to guess when/if this game sells out?

I say by June 16th.

I am in section 437 row 3. I do not mind being up higher especially since I am on the 50 yard line or thereabouts. I just hope that I am not surrounded by Iowa fans.

You can hope in one hand and **** in the other (I am sure an Iowa fan can help you with that) then see which one gets filled first.

Good luck buddy!

I say a LOT sooner. Iowa fans will be burning up the Ticketmaster lines today. Good for NIU. They will get the revenue they are looking for.

The sections initially held by NIU will be filled with Iowa fans, so it doesn't make much difference.

I think by the end of the week more tickets will be sold for this game then the attendance for last years game vs Wisconsin. First day ticket sales would have been better if the on sale date was on a Saturday instead of Monday.

Tell me if I am correct on this. The first date a non-season ticket holder can order season tickets is May 1 - after past ST holders renew, correct? If that is correct, then new season ticket buyers had only from May 1 through May 6 to get their orders in before SF tickets go on sale to the general public. So, any requests for SF tickets in new season ticket applications from this point on can get trumped by Iowa fans?

No any joe off the street can order season tickets starting the day of the HASF kickoff.

Last year I ordered my first season tickets before the deadline. I know a few others on here that did the same.

I think there was a goof up with TM because now it give you an option specifically of where you want to sit.

You actually see what seats are open and pick the seats you want. Its looks like a nice feature.

"How about Huskie fans who bought single game tickets last year and previous years? Were they contacted and allowed to buy tickets before they go on sale to the general public (read: Iowa fans)? I don't think so. Thus, only the few thousand HASF donors / season ticket holders were allowed to purchase tickets for an NIU "home" game through NIU. Seems nuts to me."

DogFan, I think you've mentioned that before. And I agree, if we're not reaching out to folks that buy single tickets and other things, we are missing the boat. What about a chance to send to all recent alumni and graduating seniors? Folks that wouldn't have become season ticket holders or HASF members yet?

The idea is that they want to leverage more people to get season tickets and/or become HASF donors so they have the oppertunity to get in on the presale.

It is the same thing as a regular season game at Huskie Stadium. Individual tickets go on sale to everyone at one time. No presale or preference to anyone outside of season ticket holders buying season tickets. Granted this game has a bit different demand.

The sell out (or near sell out) which is looking probable is good for NIU. We have upped the salaries of our head and assitant coaches from previous eras and we need the money to be competative.

I just hope that more and more NIU alums "wake up" and begin attending the very entertaining games and supporting Huskie Football which is a great value. If I can get to 2 - 3 games per year, living in Central Ohio, there is no reason why all of our home games should not be sell outs.

I envision the day when disappointed fans who could not get a seat in HS are given the opportunity to view the games in the Convo with a live pep band until stadium expansion becomes a reality.

OK, OK back to earth and back to work for the rest of the day

GO HUSKIES!

GO HUSKIES!

When we played Maryland, there were scalpers outside of Huskie Stadium. I do not see this happening for a MAC of FCS team, no matter who we play.

BSU is a 2 and a half hour drive. For road games I like to go to Miami games when NIU visits Oxford as my older daughter is a Miami grad and it is a fun family outing.

I always try to get to at least one game a year in Huskie Stadium each year; I love getting back to campus and I can't wait to see the IPF when it is completed for the 2013 season.

My wife (a tOSU grad) is pretty good about attending NIU games but there is a limit and I do not like going alone. We had a blast at the MACC game last year and have attended all three in Detroit.

Just bought 8 tickets through Ticket Master, what a joke that was. Everything is automated, they messed up the order, so I stayed on the line and finally talked to a human, he got it right. I am in a corner end-zone in section 248.
So we got 8 huskies coming from Utah, and when we travel Huskies win.
Woof!

No I know we're winnin' this game. I remember what happened when you and yours showed up in Boise!
