I'll be watching it....and rooting for Liverpool to win or draw.

Well I guess the match doesn't really matter from a Chelsea perspective. That being said. I'm glad that Turnbull and Sturridge are seeing some time. Turnbull especially, even though the minute I switch on the feed Liverpool scores.

See I dont understand that mind set. You are basing 60 million dollars for next season on whether you can beat Bayern Munich at their place with 4 of your best players absent.

Wouldn't you rather get ready for something you may have the power of over hoping for a certain team to beat another team by a certain amount of points? With this mindset at least the club thinks that they hold their CL destiny in their hands.
Also, I went to go make some coffee and I came back down 3-0. Ha.

Chelsea chances of beating Liverpool and Blackburn and Spurs losing are at least equal than beating Bayern in Munich. Plus, your game against Bayern is two weeks away. Play this game right and then you can play the scrubs against a Blackburn team that can't even tie their laces without conceding two goals.

You raise a good point. I guess everyone within the club (read: Roman and RDM) decided that the win Saturday was good enough for the fanbase, thus they'd play Lukaku, Essien, etc.
Everytime I come back to my office Chelsea are either getting carded or scored on. I guess I need to sit down and stop working...

I agree with you.
BTW, would Spurs like John Terry? You can have him.
Whaddup, Cal? I'm glad you're here. I don't know near enough about soccer to keep up with Tex for a knowledgeable conversation, so the more the merrier.

Thanks. Why is everyone over here now? Is it because of UTSA?
Terry has been bad all year, and today he has done absolutely nothing correctly. My grandmother can play better than Terry has today. It's been a sickening first half performance.

Tex got annoyed that Memphis wasn't represented by the moderating staff in CUSAbbs. Since they obviously are bitter about our move and we won't have anyone looking out for us he decided that this board (one that IS after all dedicated to the sport) should be used. I agree. One can say that "we are taking our ball and going home", but really it wasn't about the ball, it was about the fact that we were playing 5 on 8 over there.

I think it would be great if we could get this soccer forum moved to a more central location on the board (perhaps place it in the Big East off-topic area or something)

That's not what happened on my side. I dont want to get into the drama of it but someone made it clear that I personally wasnt welcome on that board any more.
