You have the wrong GSU winning that game against Maine last year. That was Georgia Southern -not- Georgia State. Plus seems like the stats are GaSo also.

I personally think that he jumped the gun on Georgia Southern in the Sun Belt.

RE: Comparison of New Conferences
This is a good idea but its neither completely accurate and is comparing apples and oranges. USA's wins aren't as good as, for example, East Carolina's. UTSA's lossto McMurry College of D3 was horrible. Include USA but not ODU? FCS games count as much as FBS?

Great concept but...needs some more work.

RE: Comparison of New Conferences
Isn't the best win column sort of subjective? Also, what years are taken into consideration here because UNT has been to at least 4 bowls (the New Orleans Bowl 2001-2004)

EDIT: I'm assuming the last 5 years

TROY beat #19 Missouri in 2004 at home on national TV. We also beat Oklahoma State in 2007 at home on national TV. Just FYI. 03-thumbsup

Well, if you're gonna include 1AA wins in your little chart, you can add WKU's 2002 1AA National Champions.

Put together by an excited TxSt fan.

Has little to nothing to do with reality, just an attempt to "belong".

Reality will set in when conference play starts for them.

Does anybody else find it funny that most of CUSA's best wins are against MAC schools?

I don't know where they are getting their stats because Georgia Southern's best season is 15-0 and our worst season is 3-8 under Brian Van Gorder's one year at GaSouthern. Georgia State's best win was over South Alabama and they have a losing record.

I'm pretty sure this only includes the last 5 years; 2007-2012

Has been fixed with Georgia State instead of Georgia Southern.

Also it is for the last 5 years.

Winning in the Sun Belt is a far different thing than winning in the CUSA.

I could really care less if the SBC is better than the CUSA. The CUSA has teams close to UNT, has a far better reputation, more money and more prestigious programs. No more body bag games. Lots of upstarts from the CUSA. When's the last time someone has gone from the Belt to an AQ?
