Good luck with that Randy. If they didn't have sufficient cause when he was fired, they certainly do now that all the Shapiro stuff has come to light. Most of that happened on Randy's watch.

It sholdnt matter if they have cause now. That either played into their decision making at the time and was proffered as a reason or it wasn't. You can't look back now and use what you found out since then as fodder.

The issue at hand is really lines 14-21 are the bulk of this filing... and it really has nothing to do with cause... because as line 14 states, "UM has acknowledged its obligation to pay the fixed sum set forth in the Employment Agreement. But, as to the Guarantee Agreement, UM has taken the position that the guarantee must be prorated"

It's not a cause of who is gone or why, but rather how much, and if UM can rewrite the terms to prorate and not pay for bowl appearances, even though it fell within the scheduled term.

Should be interesting to play out... no doubt UM will try and drag him through the mud, unless they just settle and want the issues to just GO AWAY already!
