MLB has always been my favorite sport. If they don’t play this year, that’ll probably be it for me as a fan. The McGwire/ Sosa 30 for 30 last night was good.

Cubs fans are elated with the abbreviated season. They won't lose 60+ games.

I'm concerned about the positive tests on the Cardinals affecting the schedule.The first two games against the Brewers 7/31 and 8/1 have been postponed.They were rescheduled to play a game Sat and a doubleheader on Sunday.Now,even with the doubleheader you're only playing two games.With the Marlins and Phillies situations this could affect the entire season.I'm trying to stay upbeat but this many problems so early in the season is worrisome.

The NBA may be the only sport that can make it through this. Having fewer players allows them to do the bubble thing and control their environment better. As the number of players goes up it gets harder. I honestly don't see anyway the NFL or College Football will work. Way too many players to control it and one player can bring down one team and maybe 2 teams. MLB is going to have a hard time as well.

It sure doesn't look good with so many positive test and canceled games already. I'm afraid football might face similar problems.

With fewer games and now even some of those are being cancelled. This is absolutely turning into an unfortunate mess. It would not surprise me if they just scratched the season. I can't see how any sport can go forward right now.

Weekend series postponed due to more cardinal covid infections.

Cubs flying home to Chicago tonight and wait to fly to Cleveland next week to renew season.

Cards-Pirates series is now cancelled. They would now have to play 55 games in 45 days. The time is coming where the Cardinals players decide to not play at all.

They were able to play sports in Europe without a bubble. But thats because those countries took the pandemic seriously. Sports not playing isn't a sports issue but a societal issue.

Cardinals-Tigers 3 game series is now postponed as is Thursdays game against the White Sox. 55 games in 42 days now.
