Question for Troy, FIU, FAU and WKU
I don't feel like looking it up so what was the first year all of these programs competed in the Sun Belt in football full time?

Our first football game was in August 2002 and that was as a FCS squad. Similar to FAU, we started Sun Belt football in 2005.

Playing three Sun Belt games does not equal "starting SBC play". Starting Sun Belt play is joining the conference as a full member.

Competed? I guess technically 2010. 2009 was the first year in the SBC, but because of asinine NCAA rules (transition from 1AA to 1A reasons?), WKU could not officially compete for the SBC title until 2010.

This affirms what I was thinking as far as losing UNT. UNT was the top football program until 2005 when we started replacing USU, Idaho and NMSU with the aformentioned schools while ASU and UL improved steadily. MTSU was in the mix the whole time.
