They should go the UTSA route.....offer four free tickets with a box of KFC.

And throw in some of the Colonel's gravy

Go Colonel, Go Colonel, Go Colonel !

I heard they also gave gift certificates with the free tickets for drinks and discounts on food at the games.
Sounds like a free picknik at every free game.
Surprised they didn't have maximum attendance.
Eastern Michigan wouldn't know what to do with all the "fans" attending.

Didn't Western sell season tickets door to door for like $4 a few years back? Kidding.

I thought it was Eastern that did that. Believe that was one reason that the NCAA put a floor base of $5 on tickets to count as being sold for attendance. UTSA got around that by KFC agreement donating just enough to count them some way. Believe it's Eastern that has Pepsi or some company purchase enough tickets, every other year or so, to maintain their 15,000 necessary not to get them into trouble. Not sure if they are still doing it though.

If the Sun Belt is serious about gaining ground on the other conferences, they need to strongly consider not going beyond 9 members.

Omg can you please not ever post the 9 members argument ever again??? Your not even going to be a member of this conference in another month. Please assume for the remainder of your time in this conference that we completly understand that you hate benson and adding any schools to your former conference. Post about something else FOR THE LOVE OF GOD AND ALL THAT IS GOOD!!!!!!!!!

Be nice. I could list a few things that you say on the ASU board that we would rather you just shut up about. We all have our faults.

Like what? And I was being nice. Every time the guy posts it's the same thing.

You're exactly like I was a few years ago. An overly eager RTV student who has trouble sometimes understanding that SBC football is not the same as the SEC.

Those gameday to ASU rants kind of get annoying. Gameday doesnt give two licks about us. And the RTV grad we have at ESPN works in editing, he doesnt control the rest.
Ok 1. I don't compare the sunbelt to the sec. I have never been a fan of an sec school. I know more about the sunbelt than I do any other conference. When it comes to the RTV department I am doing my best to make ASUs gameday productions the top in the country. The better that looks the better my resume looks.

2. I have mentioned gameday maybe twice. And if you can't recognize sarcasm when you read it then I can't help you. And the only time I have ever mentioned the alum that works for ESPN It was in response to our helmet being on the college football set between Alabama Oregon Arkansas and Boise state. And I said he might have had something to do with it. Which BTW is entirely possible.

We need to cut a deal with the Colonel to get us into the Big East. If we go one further than UTSA and go straight for the free buffet, could we get an invite?

Yeah, but that money is at Ole Miss now.

Ok, I'm heading out to the ledge again....

Why? Doesn't affect football at all and gives UALR a new toy and keeps us in the news a little in the Metroplex. Makes Texas State not feel so alone.

Back when we were in the Sun Belt I always enjoyed the UTA football games, they had a few good years. We were 13-8-1 against them.
You might get to enjoy them again.

Wonder how UNT will like the SBC growing another FBS program in their backyard.
Your comment makes no sense. Don't you have to field a football team to be fbs?

Do you mean div-1? Cuz uta has been that too for a while and it hasn't mattered.
