Its not all of em, totally respect Jackson and Bit. But man, for a school that begged and clawed its way into the Big XII you'd figure its fan base would be a little bit more humble than this. Its not like their school was really wanted. They was on the cusp of totally being left out. Suddenly they bump their chest how the Big XII is far superior than the ACC is downright laughable. Want to talk about how FSU, and Miami aren't the same as Texas and Oklahoma lol... Come the **** on yo. Its not like either program from the Big XII has done anything since McCoy and Bradford left. Sh*t, Florida hasn't done squat since Tebow left and no one is questioning their status. WVU fans needs some humble pie. If what they say is right, then Nordy and Petersen needs fired ASAP.

It's not arrogance, it's insecurity. And for good reason too because their future is a LOT less assured than is ours. Still, the Mountaineers are out of the Big East so they probably aren't totally hosed like Rutgers and Connecticut. However there is no way that anyone could objectively look at our respective situations and determine that they are better off than Pitt. All of the rest of it are fairy tales they tell each other to make themselves feel better about their plight.

As someone said on the realignment board, those guys are carrying a big chip on their sholders for being turned away by the Acc and SEC. i remember reading their boards before SU and Pitt left and all they could talk about was how close they were to an invite to the Acc. next thing you know, Pitt and SU announce they were leaving, lol. Then the begging and pleading started with the Big 12.

Read some of the responses to this thread.

Only a few seem to realize that it will take A LOT to get those schools to move. Especially Georgia Tech and Miami, who love being in a major academic conference.

Ha Ha Ha! It's personal for WVU fans because of the embarrassment they have from not being considered for ACC and SEC membership. Remember, they were so self assured that they were SEC bound. To add insult to injury, 2 "inferior" schools that WVU has the most history with get out of dodge while they were befuddled by not getting the coveted SEC invite.

I think my presence is missed on the expansion boards. I can bring some sanity back there, but I can hardly stand to read the threads over there anymore.

To be fair, I remember reading on the realignment board a link from someone from WV who was saying that FSU and Clemson were in discussions with the Big 12 long before it was picked up by major news sources. At the time I just ignored it as WV fans spreading rumors to make themselves feel better. But after about 2 months, I saw that some sports news reporters had started reporting it. So I wouldnt just dismiss this stuff.

That's not a chip on their shoulder, it's an entire building.

Rumors become so popular on the net that otherwise reputable news sources use them as fodder.

Just when you thought it was over, WVU does something to get back into the headlines.

Mountaineers charged with shoplifting.
