Charlotte, CUSA or Sun Belt ?
USA. 49ers athletics director Judy Rose confirmed to the Observer that CUSA is one league that has contacted Charlotte about membership. The Sun Belt is another, although that league recently added Georgia State.

"We've got a lot of options," Rose said. "But we're not there yet."

The first thing to know about Judy, is that she has no rules. She is a lean mean mullet hair cutted machine sent back in time to rejoin UNCC to CUSA again. She wears her intentions on her sleeve, just like last summer when she was shopping her upstart football program around all the FCS conferences while dropping press releases about how UNCC's intent from the start is to go FBS. Guess who is a FCS independent starting in 2013.....

Football only to CUSA? Because if I'm Charlotte, I'm not leaving the A10 for anyone else, other than the B1G conferences or ACC, in the other sports.

No of course it's going to be all sports. No league is going to take them FB only, as they have no football team currently, and they have a ton of history with C-USA and had a very good relationship at the time of their departure. It wouldn't surprise me to hear they are getting an all sports invite in the next month or less. It's happening, no matter how much I personally don't like it.

Perhaps, I don't know much about their history but if I was in their place as a non-FB playing school, currently, with an A10 invite under my belt that'd make things a little interesting.

The A10 is a really good league, but no one is going to give them a FB only invite. They had great history in C-USA, and they would love to be in a league with ECU in football. It's no decision at all. When they get the all sports invite they will be joining, and it's going to be very soon most likely.
