Former NIU recruit Warren booted off Marshall
Some recruiting trivia here. Phillip Warren, the kid Marshall just kicked off their team, was at NIU for a visit right before signing day 2010. He came with his high school teammate Lavaughn Whigam. They signed with Texas Tech but didn't have the grades to get in. Warren ended up at Marshall, Whigam never got it together.

If he gets cleared is there any chance he winds up here in a year or two? You can never have too many DB's in the MAC.

being that he would have been recruited by Kill, there isn't much connection for him here anymore (unless he was recruited by one of our current staff)
