I'll bite. I think that's a bad analogy. Tech is more like the star athlete who lives on the wrong side of town. The pretty girl would rather date the ugly nerd who can potentially give her a BMW some day.

Star athlete? That too is a bad analogy. I'd say Tech is like a second or third option starting WR on the team. You guys aren't bad, but you're no "star athlete."

Better analagy.

Louisiana Tech is the star athlete at the small school who thinks he can play with the big boys, only to transfer their and find out he's the 8th best player on the team.
