Yeah it is amazing how the Dog Pound has turned into mainly Illini talk. I understand we have mostly Illini fans making up our fan base, but it is surprising how this forum has been used mainly to talk Illini sports.

Yes, and it's quite embarrassing. This should not be Ohio where everyone and their grandmothers have a woody for tOSU.

You think we have mostly Illness fans making up the NIU fan base? no offense MD, but why on earth would you think that?
I feel like most of us on the board would love to see them crash & burn... or never take off at all.

+1

There's only a couple posters on this board that keep bringing up U of I (or one in the case of Northwestern). 95% of us could care less about that other team down the road in the state.

Excellent rendition of the future complex. Only thing I would say is the skybox would be bigger in my vision.

It seems like you have an awful lot of time to waste. Unless, of course, you're getting paid to do it (wink, wink).

Where's the scoreboard in your dream image??

Every photo-shopped image came from the original. The original scoreboard didn't really have much detail from the top view so I really didn't bother with it. I will see if I can import an image but I thought the image would stir up some NIU talk so we could get off the Illini and NU talk.

The new scoreboard would be above the end zone bleachers.

Maybe both teams could go in the same direction, like U of I and Northwestern did at Wrigley....Hey wait a minute, now I'm doing it too. #$*&%!

Its raised up the same height as the sidelines so there is really a good 3-5 feet under the rim. On top of that there would be padding on the wall at the field level.

All I can say is it's a wonderful thing that the PigDog is in the image. Great things need longevity to foster traditions.

I added a St Joe statue at the front of the West side entry. In my head he is in his post Maryland victory pose.

Really? This box is really big. I thought that if its 3 levels above the West stands and it goes from just about endzone to endzone that would be pleanty big enough. I thought that maybe it was even too big but the angle of the shadow was perfect so I just used it.

In the footprint of the old skybox I put in some premium club seats. In my head this is 4 rows (double wide) of premium outdoor seats to give about 200 total seats.

The red area on the 50 that I changed is the padded chairbacks like the ones we have but red with the NIU logo which would be just for that section. Most bigger schools do this to make a few extra bucks so why not us.
