Sweet!

I will be tuning in!
Hopefully a few more SB schools can land deals like this.
Great exposure for the programs.

I hope Baylor can bring 20K in fans.

Just kidding. Good game for the Warhawks and night games are better early in the season in LA. Better than Wright Waters putting the Cajuns and stAte on TV at 2:00 in September two years ago.

The story says ESPN but I don't know if it will be ESPN or ESPN2. It is a Friday night game so not sure which channel ESPN has been using for those games. Right now, there are no games being shown as being played on 21 September. If it is the only game on then I would guess ESPN. If they move a couple more games, then we could very well be on ESPNU.

I also see that ULL has back to back Tuesday night games in October being broadcast on ESPN/ESPN2. Also there are at least 5 SBC games on ESPNU. Starting to get more exposure which is good for all of us.

I was actually asking about the game Slappycajun was referring to.

It was regional television...thats all I remember. For a game on regional TV, we were forced to play a game in 100 degree heat. It was a lot of no fun.

Competing against possible home high school football games?

Definitely not a position I would like to be in. Good luck.

It will probably hurt attendance some, but still it's nice to be on national television (especially if it's the only college game on at the time).

I understand that may cause some problems. Choice is play on Saturday with "possible" regional coverage and compete with LSU Auburn. We all understand the problems we have with that!! Or play on a national broadcast as possibly the only game on TV. Positives is that Baylor should bring a nice crowd and it isn't a long weekend so students should be on campus. Five months to promote this. Let's just hope there isn't a massive storm like the last time we played on ESPN2. Hope no one drowned that night!!

The actual field temperature during that game was 118 degrees. The took the temp 2 feet from where I was standing. Our guys came back too within a touch down when our bench finally got shaded in the 4th 03-banghead03-banghead

RE: ULM Baylor game to be on in Prime Time!!
This is an important game for ULM. This is a game that will really determine if the fan support is there for them to continue the FBS endeavor, and I don't mean that as a slight to ULM, just a matter of fact. Anything short of 25,000 should be dissapointing, and under 20,000 should be enough for them to really look themselves in the mirror. Hopefully though, ULM pumps up and puts a sellout crowd in the stadium for this game.

That won't happen. It's a guarantee there will be more Baylor fans than ULM fans...I would bet my bottom dollar on it.

That was the last home game I missed, had a pregnant wife and it was just too darn hot. The next season I got season tickets in the shaded area, worth its weight in gold.
