GSU Softball beats #2 Crimson Tide
So proud of these girls. They went into Tuscaloosa and brought home the 5-1 upset win over the number 2 team in the nation.

If GSU can stay good in softball, the Sun Belt will be a top conference in the nation for softball. The SBC has always had a great conference rating for softball because of the recent successes Louisiana, Troy, FAU, and FIU for the most part.

Troy plays Bama later this season. Hopefully we can score an upset like that as well.

Not exactly much of a deciding factor during realignment, but, as a Cajun softball fan, the better the conference schedule from an RPI standpoint, the better the chance of becoming a national seed and hosting a super regional. 04-cheers
