What is our all-foreign-born team?
Any respectable list has to include Nikola Cicic.

Looking at the rosters on the official site (back to 04-05)
Alexei Korolev
Rashad Moss
Nikola Cicic
Alex Garcia-Mendoza
Marlon Louzeiro
Eric Kibi
Tramar Sutherland
Michael Javes
Will Neighbour

Hope I did not miss anyone.
Those over only 8 seasons.

You left out Kimmo Muurinen. I don't know how many years ago it's been since he was here, but next to Will Neighbour, he perhaps had more potential than any of our foreign players. Cici and Korolev didn't didn't produce enough to pay for feeding them.

Don't forget Alex "the Bull" Rodriguez, who played in the early 90s.

In any case, that is at least 9 players over 8 seasons. Good enough for a legit foreign connection.

Never did and never will understand the fascination with Kimmo. And I understand that I'm saying this while being a Cicic supporter, so have at it! 04-cheers

Kimmo like most Europeans, was fundamentally sound and a good solid player. I for one like kids with good fundamentals, and who are good citizens. He had both traits. He played a big part in what success we had his last year here, and some think he could have made the difference between being mediocre and good the next year. There is no malice intended in the following statement, but as a basketball player, Cicci couldn't carry Kimmo's jock.

Kimmo's leaving was one of my bigger disappointments as a fan. He had so much potential.

Something happened with Cicic, like someone messed with his shot mechanics or something. I know it's a huge step up from high school to college, but you just don't go from draining everything to missing the whole rim and backboard. I really felt he had the talent, and was smart, but something just happened to the kid.

I suspect Terrance Akins could shed some light on how a guy goes from pure-shooter to pure-Cicic, in a year.

It may have been that same disease that Bobby Petrino had. I've heard of some athletes coming down with that, and never being the same again.

Did he ever play at sau? Did he score there?

I just think the pure speed of the game killed him.

At slu we had drew diener 6'5" shooter. He could shoot the lights out but in the old cusa he was about a step and a half slow. He should have transferred to semo or some place but played 4 years and lost a of games because he could not play defense and could not get a shot off. His brothers and cousins played in cusa at the time and i think pride would not allow it.

Is South Logan County foreign? I may be a foreign fan. I sometimes feel like it over here.
