College gameday may be coming to Morgantown!!

WVU message boards are going crazy with talk that ESPN is down to two choices for this weeks gameday....Tennessee/Flordia or Maryland/West Virginia....it would be great for WVU and the BE if they showed up in Motown

Good luck, I'm tired of them doing their shows at SEC places. Mix it up a bit. Would definitely help the Big East's image!

nope..as i said..it won't happen any time soon

the best bet for gameday to be in morgantown is october 21 against syracuse...or maybe even bc..

but they will be at pitt for the backyard brawl

gameday will be from auburn this coming weekend

--Just getting ready to post that myself.....it nice that they will be at Pitt for the brawl...but its won't be the same as having them in Morgantown

guys i live in columbus where herbstreit's home radio station is. today he said they are getting pressured from the top to goto the notre dame vs. michigan state game....sorry but from what he said it doesn't look good.....he did mention that he would have liked to goto the WVU game, UT vs. UF, or the OSU vs. NC State game

WVU-Maryland is a good game and it would be nice if Gameday would go there this year, but ND-MSU and UT-UF are bigger games nationally. Since they go to UT-UF all the time, they'll probably mix it up and go ND-MSU. Good luck this weekend though.

HOW IS ND-MSU bigger nationally?! Neither is better than Maryland OR WVU. I could understand where you might get UT-UF, because of the $EC perception, but WVU-Md. is bigger than both.

There's one reason that ND-MSU is bigger nationally....

NOTRE DAME

I hate ND as much as the next guy, but they are media darlings and they have a very large fanbase. Plus, it's not like WVU-Maryland has been a good matchup over the past few years, though maybe R-rod will turn that around.
