Basketball note at the bottom of the article:

BASKETBALL RECRUIT: Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference sixth player of the year Justin Drummond attended the game as part of an official visit to UT this weekend. Drummond, a 6-foot-4 guard, is transferring from Loyola University (Md.) after averaging 10.7 points and 3.9 rebounds his sophomore season.

Ryan worked late to give us a story!

Boy is McDowell fast! Macon's hands are an extremely pleasant surprise. Flu seems like he has gotten stronger, dragging people with him. Pasquale ran strong, too. It's cool that we have some guys who can play multiple positions and the staff doesn't seem to mind moving them around.

Not sure what to think about the defense, though. D line seemed to get some penetration a few times. There were some pretty good hits. Robinson didn't look too happy coming off the field after getting shook off by Reedy. I'm sure Robinson could have tackled him but he decided to go for the ball instead. Didn't work out so well.

If Drummond elects to play for the Rockets I imagine he would be a logical replacement for Curtis Dennis...
A little bit smaller, but nonetheless, a pretty good shooter and allround athletic player...

Agreed !!!
A good synopsis of the game... It would be nice to see Pasquale utilized more... A 230 pound running back hitting the holes as quick as he did...
Shades of Parmalee and William Bratton, having a physical runner like David Pasquale as an option......
