"Keep an eye on the development of Houston’s young outside linebackers. First-round pick Jason Babin gets thrown into the fire immediately as the team’s starting left outside linebacker. The feeling inside the organization is Babin has the movement and rush skills to be very effective in the 3-4 defense; now it’s just a matter of him getting comfortable over time. At right outside linebacker, Antwan Peek backs up veteran Kailee Wong. Peek, a second-year player from Cincinnati, impressed the team with his play in training camp, but he’s still prone to episodes where he looks lost on the field. However, like Babin, Peek has the ability to provide a consistent rush off the edge. Peek likely will see action in passing situations at right outside linebacker, with Wong moving inside. The team also likes what it has seen of reserve LOLB Charlie Anderson, a 2004 sixth-round pick. Something to keep in mind as you assess the play of Babin, Peek and Anderson: All were collegiate defensive ends who were asked to switch positions upon arriving in the NFL."

A reason to watch the Houston pro football team.
