Athlon Sports: Ranking the Big 12's College Football Coaches for 2012

Fair ranking, obviously Patterson will have to prove himself in a new conference to maintain a ranking like this.

I wouldn't have ranked Holgorsen so low - and don't talk to me about the inexperience factor. The man won a BCS bowl game, and set records in that game that have never been approached anywhere, anytime, in any bowl game - ever...

But it's just this guy's opinion, like any ranking, and not worth getting bent about...

Hard to rank a guy like Holgorsen with limited head coaching experience, I think it is a valid reason to have him ranked lower. I think he is better than he is ranked, but all these rankings are just opinions.

That list should look different next year, when he has more to go on...
