CUSAbbs NHL Playoff Challenge <---Link

For anyone who is interested I created a CUSAbbs league for the NHL playoff challenge over at NHL.com. You simply pick who you think will win each series and how many games it will take at the beginning of each round.

Just create your submission and then look for the league titled CUSAbbs.

Not sure if there will be enough interest but figured I would give it a try.

Hmmm granted I only watch the Hurricanes...

Please do. I'm not sure how much interest there will be so anyone at all interested should join.

What the hell, I tossed my name in the hat.

I'm in. I guess it resets after each round so you're not screwed if a team you had losing in the first round wins it all?

Correct. Also the points increase significantly each round for correct picks so you are never really out of it.

Looks like we both got the winner right. I had the series going 7 games though. How bout you?

Wow, my bracket out west is pretty much shot. I had the Wings winning, and the other 3 series I'm on the wrong end of 3-1.

I had 7 because the Red Wings are always a good playoff team because they are in the playoffs every year. But I did think the Preds had a shot.

I've only watched these teams via them playing the Canes but anywho, these are my predictions...

Rangers in 6--maybe 5.

2 Bruins vs 7 Capitals
Capitals in 7

3 Panthers vs 6 Devils
Panthers in 6 ...Devils usually aren't good in the playoffs.

4 Penguins vs 5 Flyers
Flyers in 7. Crosby is the Pens do or die guy and whether he can stay in or not depends if they have a shot.

1 Canucks vs 8 Kings
Canucks in 5

2 Blues vs 7 Sharks
Blues in 6, unless the Sharks play better in the playoffs when they are an underdog.

3 Coyotes vs 6 Blackhawks
Coyotes in 6... I guess

4 Predators vs 5 Red Wings
While I want the Predators to win in 7, I think the Red Wings will find a way to get it done in 7
