The sad thing about that is, when NKU comes here to play, they will be laughing-their-cleats-off at our sub-standard "D-1" facility. Their D-II stadium, according to their website:
"seating for 1,000 spectators and an artificial playing surface that contain a fully lighted, World Cup style 120-yard by 80-yard competition field. Other amenities include concessions and restroom facilities, coaches’ offices, four team locker rooms plus officials’ dressing rooms, full athletic training facilities, a press box and media work area to facilitate radio and television broadcasts, laundry and equipment storage . . . also include the "Founders' Suite," a 1,000 square foot luxury box that includes a walk-out deck which overlooks the field and will provide exceptional amenities for spectators . . . and give NKU the opportunity to recruit top-notch student-athletes in soccer to compete at the highest level in NCAA Division II."

That's just soccer. Their NCAA D-II $68,000,000 basketball arena (built in 2008) is partially described as:
"accommodating up to 10,000 spectators, 14 luxury suites, 2 party suites and other fan amenities."
Yep, NCAA D-II arena: 2 levels of all-around seating, luxury boxes, drop-down video boards, etc. You know, it's everything that D-1 ETSU basketball doesn't have. Here's a link to their pics:

(Their pictures are cool, though. Move your mouse pointer across each picture and hold-down the click to get a 360-view.)

Back to our soccer schedule: at least there's no scheduled loss vs. Belmont!!!
