Here we go again...

The 6-foot-2 freshman guard was suspended indefinitely by UNCW head coach Buzz Peterson in February for conduct detrimental to the team.

I'm just glad to land a guard that can score! I broke the law three times last night.

I have heard this kid carries himself in a manner that will make everyone proud to call him a Golden Flash. From what I heard, his suspension was a result of a manager overhearing a conversation with his mom about how one of his teammates wasn't playing hard enough. The manager then went back and told the coaching staff. Sounds pretty stupid to me. Young kids and emotions can get carried away. Don't judge KK by something that most people know nothing about. Let's welcome him to the KSU family in the right manner!

Dannyb73,

Do you know or have you heard if he is 6'2", 6'3", & 6'4" (the article says 6'2' but his bio says 6'4")?
I think that it is great that he will have 4 years in a KSU uniform, 3 years of eligibility.

I think all of you should take the wait/see approach with KK.

On a side note, I heard an alarming statistic the other day, 40% of mens college basketball players transfer schools during their 1st 2 years of their careers (roughly 400 players) vs. 5% of college football players transfer schools during their 1st 2 years of their college athletic careers. (heard on Colin Cowherd show)

The kid will be fine, sounds like a he said/he said situation. He will have a year to get his act together and if he doesn't he will be gone. I have no problem with this as it really doesn't cost us anything

I am hopeful but very cautious in this case. There is something not sounding right with the story. I guess we must trust Rob and his judgement.

RE: Scholarship Open Up on Men's Hoop Team
I've read multiple articles on him these past few days, I like what I read. Everyone says he is the hardest worker on the court and hates losing. There was also another article where it seemed like a few teammates dissagreed with the suspension. All I know for sure now is how hard he goes on the court, and he gets mad when teammates don't try. Good thing he wasn't with us this year or he would have been very unhappy with half of the team.

naeskent77, You mention he hates losing, that doesn't surprise me. If the stories about his suspension are true I imagine their 10-21 record contributed to his frustration. I also love hearing that he's a hard worker. A good work ethic and being forced to sit out a season are a great combination. Just ask Rod Sherman or Jordan Crawford.
