Donation info for Dog Pound CPC Bricks (updated)
*update*
OK everyone, I have set up my Paypal account with an email for this fundraising drive. The email address is cpcdogpound@gmail.com. If anyone needs help using Paypal, feel free to PM me and I can help walk you though it. Also if anyone's company does matching funds for donations, PM me, we might be able to bump our donation up quite a bit if someone can do that. Feel free to PM me with any questions or concerns. Feel free to spread this info out to fellow alumni and students if they are unable to make a donation themselves.

So I know I mentioned it here before, but what does everyone think about buying a few bricks for the Chessick center as a group. I know I can't buy a whole brick for myself, and there are probably other recent grads who are in the same boat. But we pool our money and maybe we could get a few hundred bucks for a brick or two. Obviously we don't know how much they will be, but is anyone else interested in this?

Sure, set up a paypal account or if you don't want to, go with a trustworthy guy like HuskieFan38 (if he's willing to take on the responsibility). I'd donate a little money.

OK when that campaign is announced I will work on setting up a Paypal account. I'm hoping they are only $200 a pop, but we will see.

There seems to be enough interest to get a DP brick with people donating around $20-$25ea though a paver would be better!

On the website one of the pic says...

"Finally, the plaza will be home to a donor brick walk for supporters of $250 or more."

I have read elsewhere that there would be 2 giving levels for a brick and paver. My guess it the paver level will be $1000...Unless they have 3 levels like the Alum brick program, but that is just what I would do and I have seen nothing on that.

What I would do...
Small brick $250 + $50 for a replica
Large brick $500 + $100 for a replica
Paver $1000 + 200 for a replica

I'd be interest in being a part of this. Money is very tight but I'd be in for $20.

I think that we should get whatever we can...whether it be a small brick or a paver...based on how much we can get together.

I put this info on the spring game review thread but thought it would be useful here.

$200 small brick
$400 large brick
$500 large brick with NIU logo
$1000 paver

I was told they will taking orders at the summer scrimmage.

It would be very cool if we could get $500 together for the Dog Pound brick. Would we want to differentiate between us as the the forum NIU Dog Pound vs. the student seating section which is also the Dog Pound? And Bleeds, are you taking responsibility for setting up an account to collect the donations?
I think this is a very cool idea - I'm excited to be a part of it!
