Now that the season is over here is my top ten list for 2011-2012

1. Florida State-Dixon's steal and dunk, the free throws, and that final stop after the turnover. One could argue that it was the biggest win for UC since 2001.

2. Syracuse, Big East Tournament-The final moment after Jackson's dunk when we knew it was going to happen. One could also say that game was biggest win for the program since knocking off Duke in Alaska.

3. Wright State-This game was the first step in the long road back after the fight.

4. Georgetown, Big East Tournament-Double overtime classic!

5. Oklahoma-When I look back on this season the comeback downtown will always stick out as a great Bearcat moment. Parker and Wright stepped up and gave us a preview of what was to come.

6. UConn-SK's big three kills UConn's comeback.

7. Marquette-Senior night, Parker and Dixon lead the way as UC's punches its ticket to the dance.

8. Louisville-5/3, A war that kept UC in the hunt for the NCAA tournament. Wright's three point shooting that night was awesome.

9. Notre Dame-Yancy returns and Cats blowout the Irish.

10. Pitt-The Bearcats win at Pitt for the first time since joining the conference while playing Jackson, Gaines, and Sanders in the low post.

I might flip flop Marquette and Lousyville at #7 and 8, but overall that's pretty much a spot on assessment of the season's highlights IMO.
I've gone back and watched the end of the okie game a couple times. What an amazing comeback.

I have all 10 of those on DVR. Need to find a way to save them permanently.

I thought the first Georgetown win was impressive enough to get in that list. We might own them lately, but it's still something to get the win at their place. I might swap that one out over the Notre Dame win. That win wasn't "big" at the time and IMO Notre Dame never looked more impressive than Georgetown this season.

i RECORD lots of DVR's to DVDS. You just need to plug a dvd recorder into your tv and mine's on HDMI - 2 on the tv...Set the dvd recorder input to cable and record the dvr picture.

I have a DVR that does not go through the cable company. Works just like a VCR, except it also dubs straight from the DVR hard drive to DVDs. Best $150 I ever spent over the Internet.

I GOT ALL of them games on dvd's but can't find the Wright State game..i know i recorded it

And nice list, btw. This is my first season living out of state since becoming a Cats fan and had to miss a lot more games than usual.. but you summed it up well.

Dion's steal to dunk against FSU and Kilpatrick's three against UConn are the two individual plays that really stick with me. Lots of great team wins down the stretch too.

i found all 10 dvds now. Recorded on dvd's. I am a packrat involving Sports recordings haha

So glad Yancy punched Kenny. We were playing like sh*t before that beautiful right hook. We desparately needed a "reset" button to get on a new track, thank goodness it came in the form of Kenny's face.

I would say I wish we could have Kenny's face, metaphorically speaking, to punch whenever we needed to change gears in the future. But that would be disingenuous - truly I wish that we could have the real Kenny to punch again and again.

I'd like to see the Rawlings baseball glove company try to design a Kenny Frease catcher's mitt. Just laser print his face in the Pocket and then it would give the pitchers a great target to aim for.
