12-11, but irrelevant. Amazing comeback. Game two coming up...

The Cajuns are currently 28-0. We've beaten the defending national champ Arizona State 9-2, won nine mercy-rule games, three wins over ranked teams, and saw ten complete blowouts. Yet, the most difficult series we've played was against none other than North Texas. Yes, we swept, but two of those games (at home) went extra innings and were one point wins.

That should say something about this league, or at least North Texas. The road series with Troy this weekend will be a huge test.

I hope so...We have played some pretty good softball and pretty bad softball this year. Hopefully we can take the momentum from our top 25 win on wednesday into this weekend.

GO TROY!

Well, your girls did it. Ended the nation's longest winning streak by defeating the Cajuns 9-4. But hey, I'll take that any day over ending the nation's longest losing streak by losing at WKU! 03-weeping

Fortunately, the Cajuns took game two 9-1 in 5. I suspect they were pissed off.. :)

One more tomorrow at 1:00 pm.

I can't believe they won that game, I stopped by for a little while and watched.

If Troy can beat you guys again we will be 21-8 and have won three out of the last 4 straight ranked games. It's going to suck for Cajun fans but the RPI of the conference will jump big time if Troy gets in the top 25 and ULL stays between 8-11.

All anyone can hope for going into Sunday is a chance to win the series against the Cajuns. I don't think anyone is going to beat them in back to back games. I would love for Troy to win the series, but either way it was nice to be the team to break the streak. Heading back out for day two in a little bit.

Congrats to the Trojans on the Saturday win. After the win, I kind of expected the Cajun girls would be a little peeved, and I was right as they run ruled Troy two games in a row.
