I saw that. Isn't it usually at Heinz Field?

Yea, most years its at Heinz, but has been at HS's in the past. Unsure why some of the fanbase is so shocked at this.

Our fanbase sucks. They're the reason why Pitt would even consider hosting an event like this at a high school because they don't show up for the REAL games.

All they like to do is ***** and moan, ***** and moan. This gives them exactly what they want - a reason.

It is what it is. I hardly complain over the small stuff. While spring is great for the players to get some new practice in, even I don't pay attention to it that much. I'll read a few articles, but this year is probably the year I paid attention to the most. I'm mostly paying attention more this year, to have something to write about. lol

This is a good PR move by Pitt. The North Hills (NH & NA) put out a ton of kids who go on to FBS schools but Pitt has trouble landing them.

Well said man. I think this is a great way to connect w/ coach's in the north hills like NH, NA, Shaler, and PR.

Based on the feedback in the media so far, Chryst and his staff are doing every bit as well reconnecting with the WPA high schools as Wanny did. In fact, I expect Chryst to be even better at it when it is said and done. He comes across as very genuine. When you add in the perception that Chryst is a better innovator than Wanny, then I think Chryst will do very well recruiting Pitt's backyard. From what I'm seeing so far, Chryst seems to be a combination of Walt and Wanny in a good way - offensive innovator who can adapt to situations combined with the desire to build strong relationships with the local community. Chryst will end up being a very good recruiter IMO. Can't wait for the next several years of Pitt football with Chryst in charge and playing an ACC schedule.

I mean so far Chryst is doing all of the right things. Hoping this translates to a long and successful career at Pitt.

It's really hard not to like Chryst right now. Especially since we haven't lost a game!

I'm in agreement, though, to be sure - he's the right guy for this job. He was the right guy last year and we just went in a different direction. I truly believe this is a good situation for everyone involved.

Totally agreed man. At this point I just can't say anything bad about the guy. Some say he isn't a great speaker. To me he's a laid back cat, and that's 100% Pittsburgh if you asked me.

Being a good speaker might "win" you some press conferences but last I checked they don't count against the team's record.
