After the first weekend of the "Big Dance", undoubtedly, there will be some things that we tend to forget when filling out our brackets that tend to always happen, ultimately frustrating us.
This thread is intended to be a compilation of those simple reminders that will serve us in the future, aka, "NOTE TO SELF".
What we learned from the Missouri debacle -- two things:
1) Whenever I see a Big XII school (not named Kansas) as a 2-seed opposite a MEAC tournament champion as the 15-seed, pick the MEAC school. This is now the second occurrence of this scenario (last time, it was Hampton over Iowa State)
2) You know, these Tournament Selection folks tend to be smarter than us, even though we want to think otherwise. They said Missouri received the lowest 2-seed because of their low out-of-conference SOS. Yup, their smarter than us.
What we learned from the Duke debacle -- one thing (add your own):
1) Whenever Duke is starting a freshman at PG
AND one of their leading scorers is injured, NEVER pick them beyond the round of 32.
