No doubt she saved the day last night.

UD shot very well when they had open looks. I can only imagine what it would have been like with Shearer in there. I don't think it would have been good for the Rockets.

This is a poor shooting team. When you have 2 starters under 39% from the field, that's not good. Needs to be solved by next season.

I know it looked like that at times, but I've been looking over the stats from the last few seasons, and statistically that's just not true. Looking at the last 7 seasons (that's as far back as I've gathered the data), & thru this year's MAC tourney games, this team is actually tied for best overall shooting percentage (with the 09-10 team) and trailed that same 09-10 team by only 0.1% in 3 pt shooting.

This years team was significantly better from behind the arc than last year's team (by more than 5 percentage points). Deuce improved by 16 percentage points, Hailie by 9, and Dola by 20!

Oh, and here's a couple of other interesting statistics about this years team, compared to the last 7 years.

Fewest points given up (56.9) - beating last season by over 2 points per game
Best rebound differential (+4.2) - besting last season by more than 3 boards per game.
