Jacori Gore, 4* RB out of LSU and #6 rank RB per rivals will be transferring to FIU. He'll have to site out 2012 but will be ready to rock n' roll starting in 2013.

Another big get. He ran for 1,813 yards and 29 TD's as a senior, while also catching 16 passes for 225 yards and 2 TD's. He would be the second recent FIU player who is a cousing of NFL'er Frank Gore.

This kid seems to be a stud! Why didn't he get on the field at LSU? The belt is getting some good quality players transferring in. I guess: "What glitters is not always gold!" Kids are starting to realize that you can make it to the big show from any conference if you put your mind to the task and couple it with a tremendous work ethic.

What people fail to understand about LSU (i'm gonna puke in my mouth saying this) is that they have NFL talent at every position on the field. At RB they have Hilliard, Ware, Blue, etc all of them are NFL backs and would start at EVERY signle school in the country outside of Alabama and Wisconsin. It is very easy to get lost in the shuffle when they have 6 or 7 RBs who are better than 90% of the rest of the country.

LSU has some great backs but that is a really big stretch. They played 14 games and not a single one of their guys has 1000 rushing yards. Yes they play in the SEC but 14 games is a lot of carries. Look at it like this and keep in mind a LOT of their rushing yards came in the Ole Miss, WKU, FCS, Oregon, Tennessee, and Kentucky games.
Curtis McNeal USC. 1005 rushing yards with 145 carries in 12 games.
Spencer Ware LSU. 707 rushing yards 177 carries in 14 games.
Michael Ford LSU. 756 rushing yards on 127 Carries in 14 games.
These transfers from big schools are usual full of potential but they often have a bad worth ethic and think they will start immediately by transferring to a non AQ team. I would take Ty Hilton any day over a 4 star transfer from LSU.

I think you make broad brush strokes here and the bit about Hilton is a bit of a strange statement to make. A large portion of the transfers, Calhoun included, that we've gotten at MT are family hardship cases.
You'd take a known commodity one of the best WRs to ever come through the conference over a **** SEC transfer which is an unknown? If that's what you're saying, well duh.
If you're saying you'd take Hilton, out of high school(** unranked prospect) over a **** SEC transfer, you're crazy. From a prospect standpoint, TY was not special, ** recruits are a dime a dozen, of course he ended up being special, but he was a diamond in the rough and the level of success he found could not have been predicted. Of course these big time transfers offer no guarantees either, but we all get ** recruits every year, it's not every year you get a shot at blue chip guys.

Jake Johnson transferred to USA from Virginia Tech a couple of years ago. His work ethic and on-the-field results have made him a huge part of the team's success. We've largely had great results with the transfers that have joined the Jags.

Also 4 of the 5 are from Louisiana.
Michale Ford averaged 5.9 yards per carry.
Alfred Blue averaged 6.9 yards per carry.
Spencer Ware averaged 4.0 yards per carry.
Kenny Hilliard averaged 5.4 yards per carry.
Terrance McGee averaged 4.9 yards per carry.
