i realize this is mainly in jest, but here's the best/worst case from pat forde for the bearcats:

It comes close enough to another bad scene that Cronin has no choice but to bench Gates for the rest of the game, and the Bearcats are upset by the Longhorns. Shooting 9-of-22 at the foul line doesn’t help. After three months of trying to put the Xavier brawl behind it, Cincy again comes under fire for failing to control its players. Xavier somehow advances to the Final Four.

The best was in NYC when they honored the scholar Football athlete of the year and was Jk then the Overall male scholar athlete was Finan and the place looked like they could not believe UC swept the Academic awards and was kicking tail on the court too!

Where was the National media then?????????

I would have never dreamed this team would be so poor at shooting FT's. Dixon, Wright, SK? They should be shooting 75%-85%, IMHO. Why they struggle makes no sense.

I hope they get it together for the tournament and it becomes a non-issue.

Thought it was funny...

they struggle because of a combination of reasons:
1) no legs ,,playing alot of minutes leaves them leg weary
2) concentration lacking
3) not great shooter(s) in the first place
4) don't recognize that EVERY shot matters at Tournament time, regardless of the lead
5) reps? Don't know what their practice routines are
