BG is one, maybe UT and CMU.

Talk about getting fisted. Green Bay finished 30-1, and ranked #10 in the country. They got hit with a 7 seed, and have to start on the ROAD vs a 10seed Iowa St, who plays in front of 10000 fans regularly

BG is one, maybe UT and CMU.

I thought maybe Miami might get picked before CMU, not sure how they evaluate such things.

EMU rpi is 49 sos is 127

BG rpi is 71 sos is 218

UT rpi is 79 sos is 128

Miami rpi is 100 sos is 203

CMU rpi is 133 sos is 139

Miami is 21-9, Central is 19-15, they split two games, both winning by about the same margin. Miami finished a couple of games ahead of Central in league standings, Central made it to the championship game, Miami only the Quarterfinals. 64 teams in NCAA, 64 more in WNIT makes 128 spots.

Turns out all 4 made the WNIT. BG and UT are rewarded with home games, CMU adn MU on the road.

Were we rewarded or did we bid on the games like lasst year? I thought the schools involved bid for home games but maybe that's only in the later rounds? This may be the strongest batch of women's teams in the MAC in a long time if not ever. I suspect BG will continue to do well, but the days of penning in an automatic MAC championship are over. CMU will be awfully tough for years to come if they don't implode.

I saw that, but ISU is 18-12, right? And WI is technically right next door to IA.

Anyway, didn't another 30-1 team get a #10 seed?

I believe MAC women had four teams in last year's WNIT as well. The conference has been one of the stronger non-megabuck leagues the past few years.

MAC women ranked #10 in conference rpi last year, #12 this year. Considerably higher than the men in recent seasons.
