Congressman Jones of NC has a well-earned reputation for doing his own thing, independent of any partisan leadership or approval. Obviously, this will not get anywhere, just like the attempts to impeach Reagan, Bush/41, and Bush/43 went nowhere. I think the last president who did not have impeachment resolutions brought up in the House was Carter.

There's no time to remove him from office unless he's re-elected.

However, this is probably the only subject that an impeachment controversy won't guarantee Obama the sympathy of America and another term.

He already has. Just like his predecessors have done. None of them give a sh!t about the Constitution and Congress and the SCOTUS has had no backbone to stop them. That is the reason we have the giant blood sucking government we have now. I don't put this on Obama. He is just another in a long line of criminals.

He may be Impeached by the House, but a trial in the Senate will go no where. So whats the point. Obaffoon has no fear of being thrown out of office. He does whatever he pleases.
