The clerk said that Ticket Master might have some but the ones reserved for Western were gone. There might be some in adjacent sections. I think Western is 105 and 106.

That's what I figured.

It'd be nice to have a few full sections of Broncos though!

There are only 20,000 seats so they had to allot them to the schools to be fair about things. Here's how it works:

BG was allotted 600 seats because they are farthest away.
WMU was allotted 675 seats, because they are WMU.
Miami gets 3,725 because they are recognized nationally as a perennial power in hockey.
UM gets 15,000 because they also have a basketball game going on at the same time and it would look suspicious if they were allotted all 20,000.

Nothing unremarkable.

Not to detract from the wonderful sarcasm, but I can't help but point out that BGSU is only about 1/2 the distance from JLA as WMU is...

Given that the Joe gets like 12k for the semis, they ought to be giving like 1500 to the schools.
