Question for folks who went to UT-BG game @ BG this year
I'm heading down to bg to watch my former HS play in the regionals on tuesday night. Where's the best place to park? We'll be coming down route 25 into town.

thanks!

The further away you park, the easier it will be to leave. There is only one exit if you use the main parking lot.

Don't leave us in suspense, which school?

Should be rocking. Three small towns and Carty Finkbeiner.

Maumee Valley...we don't really like to acknowledge Carty as a grad.

Prior to this year, the furthest we'd make it in the state tournament was the district semis...so this is quite a run for the school. not exactly a basketball or sports power house ever.

He coached the girls when I went to school there. I graduated in 99. I think he coached the boys for a short time but now Jim Robinson is the boys coach.

Are you playing in the first game or the second game?

If the first game, everyone leaves via the Wooster St. exit.

If the second game, you have two options when leaving (via Wooster St. and via Mercer).

If you're coming down Rt. 25, turn left at Poe Rd. and follow to Mercer Rd. and turn right. You might be able to park at the residence hall (on the left) or the Ice Arena (on the right) and walk over if you are the first game. If the second game, pay the $5 and park at the Stroh Center.

05-stirthepot Not sure why Toledo people struggle when leaving the Doyt/Stroh parking lots, but they're also the ones driving the speed limit in the left hand lane as well. 04-cheers

First game. I did think to possibly park at the ice arena. Thanks for the advice.

There sure are an awful lot of posts on AZZ by people purporting to be Falcon fans complaining about traffic at Doyt, AA and Stroh. I guess they are really left lane driving Toledo fans. 03-lmfao

Those are the ones that are still complaining about the fat CMU punter back in.......93...94....??? Boy CMU has really done us wrong - the fat punter in 93 or 94, then the men lose at home to them in the first round of the tourney, and the women lose in Cleveland.

Common sense tells me that if you have approximately 2000 people at the Stroh Center, that at the end of the game you kick back, grab a Coke, put in some of the Jack or Jim Beam you brought in past the "tin soldiers" and have a drink before you leave the Stroh. (Just hide behind the sign you made that tells the ref that they suck!) Then when you get to your car, you don't have to worry about the traffic. 04-cheers

Hmmmm, driving and drinking don't mix and that's probably not a good idea...
